This turquoise gemstone is from the Number 8 mine in Nevada. It is from old stock, rare, valuable, and highly collectible. This pendant features a textured fine silver (.999) bezel, and a modern sterling silver (.925) bail. It hangs from an 18″sterling silver snake chain. The pendant itself measures 1 5/8 inches long by 1 inch wide.

Each piece of turquoise is slabbed, shaped and polished by the artist, KD Steele.

Number 8 is handmade and one-of-a-kind.

The black and red spider web Number Eight Turquoise is the rarest and most valuable. Today Number 8 turquoise is one of the most valuable stones that can be collected and one of the most beautiful that can be used in jewelry.

Number 8 is known for its spider webbing and light blue to dark blue color with green shading. The matrix is usually golden to reddish brown and even black. The Number 8 mine was closed in 1976.
